Berlín Project

Das Stue is a luxury hotel located in the center of Berlin. It was designed by Patrícia Urquiola, the international Spanish architect and interior designer who has been living in Italy for more than 20 years. Das Stue consists of a manor house – refurbished as a hotel next to the Spanish embassy – and an annex building with modern architecture to house new rooms, a starred restaurant and the hotel facilities.

It also has a relaxing Spa and an elegant restaurant called Cinco by Paco Perez, run by this renowned Catalan chef.

The project was based on a preliminary Concept Design proposed by the interior design team and subsequently developed at a graphic and industrial level by Signes. Our proposal also included the study of the signage needs, the manufacture of the signs and the assembly of all the elements.

Copper was the material proposed as support since it fit with the decoration and was part of the interior design, the minimalist proposal designed solves the identification needs but with the premise of only seeing the signage when it is needed. All pieces were laser cut, engraved and finished with a semi-matte varnish bath.
