European Olympic Games 2015
On the occasion of the first European Olympic Games, held in 2015 in Baku, the Pujol Arquitectura studio designed an indoor facility that includes an Olympic swimming pool, a diving pool and a 25-meter training pool, as well as other facilities such as a fitness room, restaurant, shopping area, etc.
The signage project, carried out by Signes, proposes and resolves the needs of the building for these Olympic Games and for its subsequent use as a sports equipment building for the community.
The study of flows and circulations was planned for both vehicles and pedestrians, from the main accesses to the destination of each type of user: athletes, visitors, authorities, workers, suppliers, etc. The graphic needs of the signage identification elements and information supports were developed. The industrial solutions for each typology and their contents were also designed in several languages.
