The Spanish lighting company Vibia, renowned for its award-winning luminaires signed by international designers, opens its headquarters and showroom in Barcelona.
Signes carried out the signage project, both exterior and interior, of this space of more than 16,000m2 together with the Marketing Department of Vibia and the interior designer Carlota Portavella.
Designing the façade logo for a lighting company like Vibia was not an easy task. The new brand is composed of a fine line typography designed to show the subtlety of the space modeled by the light. In order to illuminate the façade signs uniformly, constantly and without shadows, we thought of the solution through the industrial design of an element composed of methacrylate sheet and aluminum so that the light would expand along the sides.
For the interior, raw steel sheets treated with Owatrol have been used as a graphic support, resembling the finish of other walls or railings found inside the offices.
Direct graphics on printed vinyl walls to adjust the colors and cut-outs completed the graphic solutions applied in the showroom.
